Las Vegas police has reportedly arrested a man in connection of the 1996 murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.

The L.A. Times reports that that Duane “Keffe D” Davis was taken into custody in an area near Las Vegas Friday morning (Sep. 29). The exact charges will be revealed in the expected indictment later Friday.

On July 17, a residence owned by Davis in nearby Henderson was raided by Las Vegas police where they collected clues related to the unsolved murder including multiple computers, a cellphone, a hard drive, a Vibe magazine that featured Shakur, several .40-caliber bullets, and more.

Since Tupac’s murder 27 years-ago, Davis has confessed multiple times of being a passenger in the vehicle where the shots were fired that killed the 25-year-old rapper. Davis has also suggested that his nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, who was killed two years later, shot ‘Pac in retaliation of their brawl the same night.
